An HDR image of Texas, at it's best! This is at my sister's ranch. What a glorious morning! I could drop everything in my life and live here forever and be happy as a clam! I processed this from a single image (I only use SINGLE images in the case of moving animals, moving trees and grass, water etc.) to TIFF files, then merge in HDR.
This is a Texas Longhorn and YES a huge part of Texas is still just like the movies..with cowboys, cattle, rocks, cactus etc. My ex used to say that everything in Texas had either thorns or horns. SO true.
Have a great day!
B-)
Linda

very nice comp and i love the light in this shot nice warm image , very well done

Hi Linda

That long horned cow or bull, looks like something not to mess with. The red hide contrasts well, against the blue sky. Excellent sharpness & framing. Tfs!

Oh man, it don't get much better than that.. :)))
Wonderful light, perfect composition and balance with the tree to the left and the longhorn in the sweet spot. Beautiful color, outstanding detail and fantastic weather. The sky is just incredible. Now that is one awesome shot. Makes me sigh a big ole sigh... LOL Great shot, Linda!! Many thanks and warmest wishes,
Shelly

Hi Linda,
A very sharp capture of this wonderful landscape with an HDR treatment!
Great details everywhere and a nice warm atmosphere!
A very peaceful place surrounded by this green environment.
Very natural colors.
Well done.

Hi Linda,
Excellent scene, I like a lot the dramatic sky, the green trees and field and the imposing cow-great horn, nice velvety fur and warm brown and white tones.

Andreea

Hi Linda,
What a great picture, so crisp and stunning clarity! Superb colours and an attractive composition. This must be the "real Wild West" :-) Only a pity the longhorn didn't want to look into your camera, which wouldn't happen with a Nikon of course :-)
Awesome posting Linda!

Hi Linda,

I like the composition that integrates feed, here a longhorn.
A typical landscape of Texas, with beautiful color and clarity. It creates an atmosphere, very warm and lively.
I know when you put me criticizing my composition is excellent. Good evening you.
john.

Boa noite Linda
Very well composed and a tribute to my Texas memory from movies.
Just miss the music from Texas...the rest is all here. Congratulations.
um abraço
Teresa
