Hi Linda

Wow! I would have to pin them all to the flowers or they'd all fly away! Wonderful fof, sharpness & repetition of the Monarchs. We get them in Australia, too. Tfs!

Beautiful, beautiful,, a great shot a great momment, clear shot, clear colors.

Congrutallations

Great picture!
Unique and beautiful composition!
The colours and sharpness are very good too.
Congratulations, Linda!

Linda, You cloned one butterfly right? A collage of 4 photos nicely melded together? NO!! Darn girl, what are you putting on the flowers to attract them. This is simply wonderful!! I would have been too excited to take the photo. I like the vertical lines of the stems and the curves of the butterflies. Great one! :) lisa

Hi Linda,

This is simply beautiful. nice textures on the butterfly wings. liked the straight lines of the flowers here and the angle at which the butterflies are sitting down. good colors, sharpness and a nice composition here.

Tfs,
Sanjib.

Hi Linda,

Simple shot..? Hmmm...I think you need a lot of patience for this capture :)
Let me take the honor of announcing this picture as the "winning entry of today" :) hehehe..

Wonderful capture of these 4 beautiful creatures, and here I like the suprb sharpness and a great POV. The DOF is very well maintained. The colors are wonderful and at their best.
Very well caught!

greetings from Europe,
Paras

Nice picture and interesting arrangement, each butterfly with his own flowers.Well done.Regards.Alin.

Hello,
congratulations, rary scene with four beauties,
compliments
Ryszard

Hi Linda,
That is a most wonderful sight. It almost looks like they were cloned. This photo would have worked if the second from the right was not positioned lower as the rest. It gives that bit of playfulness in the composition.
I am glad you left the photo as a real photo. I think that wildlife photos deserve all reality. The DOF and colors are wonderful.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Linda,

I think you were sittin' on a horse shoe waiting for one to show up and voila, what luck! Really amazing that their wing positions are very close too (none flat), almost like synchronized butterflies. Very colorful and sharp, nice catch.

Best regards,
Werner

Now why couldn't that bottom one, not just fly away & leave you with the three top ones, making for a more synchronized lunch date:) A great capture Linda,I have a hard enough time getting one butterfly, to be stationary long enough for me to get a decent shot,& here you get four of them & in such details well done.Does the plant have some effect on them that they stay posed like this:) Your very fortunate, I really don't know how often anyone gets this type of opportunity, may I suggest you buy a Lotto ticket:)
Cheers
Ron

Hi Linda,
What a good shot. It's very difficult to capture a butterfly but four in one shot! Congratulations. Vary nice picture and good details.
Regards,
Valérie.

Linda -
This is awesome - a whole squadron, all lined up facing the same direction! And all of them sharp with vivid colors. Great DOF with a perfect blurred background. Great timing to grab this image and to get it really right.

hi linda.
your horizon isn't straight. ;-)

Hi Linder-
OMG this IS GREAT ! What a wonderful capture. I really thought for a moment, this can't be- they are cloned. Only to realize there was no cloning. Wow- nice work. It's a favorite of mine for sure. TFS Julie

Incredible shot, Linda! You caught very picturesque moment. I like it!
Regards, Ewa

This is awesome Linda , four butterflies of the same species all lined up for a shoot , what i like most is that they chose to simplify your shooting by landing down on their respective flowers in such a manner that focusing on one will get the others sharp as well as they apparently seem to be on a same plan at the same distance from your lens , you make my day with this one my friend,
wonderful capture !

HA!! It looks like you have PP'd the butterflies into your image... It's quite amazing how you have them all just about the same.
Super focus and sharpness, colours and composition - good one girl. . .
Janice

Hi Linda,
When I can catch my first 2 butterflies, I thought I'm lucky. Then I got chance to catch my second 2 butterflies, I thought I'm very lucky. But what you have here?!?! 4 butterflies?!?! There should be a magic here!!! Instead of the technique, would you please share the spell? Haha!
Cheers! Imelda

Hello Linda!
Fantastic this capture!
Excellent focus and wonderful colours!
Best regards!
Lili
