*** Running a little late today, had a stress test done, you know, the usual check up.

Happy Birthday Tomek and many more to you my friend! I had the pleasure of meeting Tom at Niagara Falls a few weeks back and we had a great day shooting the falls, meeting Silke and eating ice cream! I shot this on the observation deck.

It's very nice Tom's portrait, Linda! I like soft B&W tones here. I think it's wonderful gift for our friend.

Hi, Linda-
I like the portrait - he has a great expression that shows some of his character; it's nice and sharp with a nice spectrum of b&w tones. My problem is with the crop - it seems uncomfortably tight at the top and the image is slightly unbalanced with so much of his neck and shoulders in the frame but the top of his head cut off. I would crop a bit higher both at the top and bottom, but it's a very subjective observation and I wouldn't be surprised if you and perhaps others disagree.

Well we don't like our self on pictures but this one went out pretty good - I like choice of BW and all grey tones are very good.
