[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Our last home away from home was in Port Orford. From this place we planned to see part of the Oregon coast, visit the Redwoods in California, and relax a little before the journey home.

The advantage of being so close to the coast is that you can pick the day to visit a location which can produce a nice photo with good light. Our home was located just right of the lake on the top right of the photo. So only a short drive to the parking area of Port Orford Heads State Park brought us to this wonderful view of this beach which I have called Paradise Beach because there is a state recreation site named Paradise Point.

As for the technical part of the photo: Tripod, spirit level, remote switch, 0.9 ND filter to stop down the speed and a 0.9 ND soft to balance the exposure.

Wonderful photo!
great sunset, and great bay.
but pity of the rock in the centre.
you would put the sunset and bay together, but now the rock takes the attention..

Aww yeah, GREAT panoramic view here Niek, catching the sun just as it goes down! Love how you did this! The edge of the short sticking out doesn't bother me at all, part of the scenery!
