I fell in love with this scene as we walked towatd the southwestern edge of the falls that afternoon. I saw this couple by the railing, with that marvelous evening light shining on them. This is one of my favorite photos from the trip.
I just processed from raw, added a little saturation.

Well the scene is really intriguing, even if the left side is a bit suffering cause of the lack of lighting; you could have maybe use a flash in order to slightly enhance it.

Hi Linda !

Maybe a bit too dark on the left, indeed, but that light is lovely for sure.
Wonderful scene, wonderful rich colors.

have a great weekend,
v

Buena imagen en la que se aprecia la fuerza del agua en forma de niebla
Buen trabajo
un saludo

Buen fin de semana

HiLinda, what a beautiful sho! gret colors fantactic details, congratullations a TFS

Hi Linda...nice tones and light...I have been playing with the adjustment brush, decreasing the exposure of the entire image then painting the subjects lighter...did you do something like this or was this the natural light?

Roger

Hello Linda,

This is superb!
There is so much to enjoy, from the well conceived, diagonal composition, to the contrasting sharpness of the people and the misty, secrecy of the rising mist.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Ciao Linda, great view of Niagara falls, wonderful composition with lovely people, fantastic light, very well done my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hello Linda,I like this one; it seems to be three shots in one.
All the people entranced by the magnificent falls, the falls with all their power and then the mist and spray. The light on the people and their colourful clothes and the green water are wonderful.
Tfs, regards Jean.

The light is indeed so striking here - I love the way there's a kind of natural spotlight effect on the people towards the right of the frame. Nice the way that the eye can follow a flow from lower left, to upper right, and then across to the left and into the waterfall's mist.
Good job!
Rew

Linda,

There is something about Niagra falls that literally stops one in his or her tracks. The people in the photo look mesmerized by the beauty of the falls. The way the light has fallen on the people is so neat too. Great effect. Thrilling place to visit! :) Lisa

Hi, Linda -
Great scene, well-captured. The power of the falls is evident from the rising mist to the left; the colors of the tourist's clothing provide a lot of warmth. The vignette works well here. I wish I had had come on this trip - looks fantastic. Well done.

It's really nice evening light. I love combination this warm soft light with power of Niagra.
Regards, Ewa

Hi LInda,
Oh! This is a very beautiful view on the Niagara falls which is not common!
I like really the capture of this scene with this warm light on the people, keeping the rest of the image in a subtle shadows atmosphere.
Impressive natural colors, and verite-photography in the manner of the cinema-verite!
Bravo! Annie

It's Ontario, Canada and not a New York, USA.

Stay vibrant Linda, while kicking some butts :-)))

Well... I can feel that atmosphere of this place Linda.
Sad that I missed this moment with you at this location.
I like it how you composed this with people together.
Cheers - Tom:)

Great shot, nice comp with the inclusion of people
TFS

Hi Linda,
I love the lighting in this one, looks like something from a movie (and the colour tones sort of remind me of something from the program called 'The Bold & the Beautiful, haha). Nice job.

TFS,
Scott.

It was good to include people in this shot Linda , i do it myself often , i get this sensation of looking at the falls and although i find them nice i keep coming back to the onlookers , i know it has to do with the wonderful light that illuminates them making it harder for my eyes to look away from the group . Great POV , that's the NY side of the falls , i did visit some years ago and the view from Ontario appeared so similar ! The waterfalls are a fantastic sight wherever you stand !
TFS ,
Carol
