Pisco Sours and Cubans on the deck...Still trying to recover from the devestation caused to Galveston Island, Texas by Hurricane Ike...A little break from the daily routine to enjoy a gift from a friend...

Pisco Sour

2 oz Peruvian Pisco Brandy
1 oz lime juice
1/4 oz simple syrup
1/2 egg white*
1 dash Angostura® bitters

Shake ingredients vigorously with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass and add the bitters as an aromatic garnish.

*Egg white is added to give the drink a "frothy" appearance but if you're not a purist, omit it...

hello Jim,
the interested composition. Each components, though nicely look, do not serve to the health of the man :). The good sharpness, fine POV.
