Oh, the setting sun casting golden light on autumnal colours must be Nature's best art work, Danilo!
I love how the field undulations are defined so clearly.
There appears to be a halo around the distant trees perhaps from sharpening, but in this instance adds to the whole glorious effect!

You have done magic on this one, great PP work and color saturations to give it e dreamy look of old:) If you prefere haze then it looks good but a slight contrats may give it a slightly less hazy...either way, most excellent work!!!

Fantastic landscape vista - the wonderful contours and colors of this region during autumn really come through. Very effective PP work. The feel of the image is very much like a 1940's or 1950's-era film. I was in the DC / Virginia area yesterday and saw some great autumn scenes, but it was all business - no time for photos.

Ohh, I don't know how I missed this powerful shot with such a great harmony of colors and a exceptionally well caught landscape..!

I like the great autumnal colors, and I feel this is one of the best shots I have ever seen from autumn moments. I like the superb colotr balance and the sharpness you have achieved through this great capture. The clouds adds beauty to the shot intensely too.

I like the approach you used in PP , the tonemapping has given this a kind of velvety texture , smooth relief i'd say, it has the quality of images taken from children storybooks , i certainly enjoy your presentation , it's still vivid color-wise yet it's within the boundary of what becomes surreal and imaginary if you know what i mean , stunning landscape , one to behold , autumn must be prime time to be there and shooting scene like this ,

Holy faux HDR-look Batman!

This is a very captivating image, Danilo. The Shenandoah Valley is definitely a must visit every Fall. Excellent framing of dead and live foliage and juxtaposed textures.

We should go on a 2-man photo walk some time...

À mon avis le filtre-tabac fait ici un peu trop son effet et donne un aspect, comme tu le dis, de trichromie.
Bien sûr, l’image garde tout son charme et sa beauté et le côté artistique sont bien mis en valeur par ce post-traitement.

What an interesting treatment you applied at this photo!
But, First you chose a wonderful point of view on this valley!
I like much the curved range of trees alternating with the hilly fields. The colored harmony is soft and warm and looks like a watercolor !

I am not familiar with tonemapping, but it certainly is effective here.
I love the rolling hills with all the autumnal colours.
The thoroughbreds lolling about in these areas are lucky indeed.
