[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another photo from when I went flying with my brother. This was taken right before take off. I was sitting in the tiny back seat of this plane and snapped this shot right before we turned left and took off down the runway.

I processed this one a lot since the levels were very hard to get right. I also tried using the perspective and clone tools to get rid of the shadow under the wing but it didn't look quite right so I left that.

I posted a not-so-flattering photo of me in the back of the plane as a *** WORKSHOP ***

Suggestions welcome.
JP

Weeeeeeeeeeehooooooooooo!
Man, that's what I dream to do may be one day.
All what I did so far is some flight simulator stuff. After a few hours of simulation in a cessna cockpit, I've noticed that my automobile driving style was benefited slightly and I was driving more smoothly :)
So about the photo, it totally looks in motion, except well, no motion is visible :)
The perspective and the tilt are dramatic. Actually, the airplane was moving across the runway but your photo has the pseudo motion feeling of moving along the runway.
Quite interesting stuff!

excellent sharpness, i like the tunnel effect form by the wing and the runway

Hi JP,

Great shot!I like this lines, nice POV.
Fernando

Fantasticly composed JP!!! All the lines were by itself interesting, but then the detail of the wing and the reflections really make this shot very powerful!
Congratulations. I really love it!!

Awesome symmetrical shot of a runaway on a very beautiful sunny day ... there is a slight tilt in the image ... but it does not bother me as it kind of adds in to the sway of the plane
cheers ...sarju

Great perspective! Well done! TFS :)

Hi Jean Pierre,
this is cool. I like the graphic aspect. Great composition.

Hi JP

I like the diminishing linear perspective & vanishing point, enhanced the additional graphism added bt the white lines on the tarmac. Good sharpness & the 2 halves of the image are in good symmetry. Well done!

Hey Jean Pierre,
Nice lines.. about to stay back and below :)
Composition is very nice with a great sense of depth.. Very well done..
take care..

Oh I really like the effect you obtain with this one. Nice perspective and very curious.

Fantastic shot, great perspective and the idea, ready to take off, great !

Very interesting composition and perspective! Sharpness is excellent. I find that small piece of reflection in the middle a bit disturbing, but nevermind. It was already so stressfull to you, you couldn't just open the door at that time :))))

Good job done!

I really like the optical illusion feel to this pic. the endless horizon plus the lines give a warped feeling. it s cool to look at.

Great sense of movement in this JP. Very effective composition using the unusual POV. Nice!

Great shot. I like all the lines on the runway and their reflections on the plane. Great point of view.

From the thumbnail, I thought we were looking up vertically at a skyscraper. Good shot, looks like fun.

a unique and less seen perspective. thanks for sharing. the lines draws me in.

A very nice one JP, with the top of the wing and the white lines on the ground, the perspective is very impressive!
Best regards
Guy

Interesting angle. I love the neverending runway lines. I painted them one summer.

This is an excellent photograph. The composition is great. The feeling of speed is exhilarating. The lines draw the eyes and the attention to the direction of flight. The shadow is fine ... why did you try to get rid of it ...
