While in Pennsylvania I had a chance to get the car and get out on my own and take some shots. I saw this scene while crossing a small bridge. I glanced out the window and had to turn around and go back. This is an HDR image of a single shot. I loved the different colors here at this creek.
Hope you all have a great day!

howdy neighbour,
autumn is such a colourful time of the year. this creek is a great choice to show the warm tones of the trees and shrubs.
there must be lots of birdlife in that area. i wish i could see it.
nicely handled.
hugs.
Brian

Well done Linda! - I like here these elements what create scenery for picture - this is popular environment but because of framing this way creek and surroundings it makes nice and peaceful view and as you've mentioned - colours! - nice with sign of another summer end...
Cheers - Tom:)

Linda
This is the most beautiful gift of the autumn:the lovely colors of the all nature, and you share whit us this wonderful capture!
Thanks for that.
Horia

I like the muted autumn colours - the HDR has given a fairly even range across the scene. Interestingly I find that leaves are about the hardest kind of image to resharpen, especially within the constraints of 300kb but this has surprisingly good quality.. I find that too many leaves in my shots I get pixellation - always a bummer!!

Nice shot anyway
David

Beautiful shot Linda...wonderful tones...

Roger

Nice HDR of this beautiful scene and while some HDRs can look overdone this one does the format full justice. Color, composition and sharpness is splendid and love your enthusiasm and will to go back, get out there and shoot! Well done!

cheers,

Dilshan

Hi Linda,

A very beautiful scene the rich colours of autumn set before you like a palette the dof is great the pov brilliant and the details are pin sharp well done.

Regards
Jon

Hello Linda,

Autumn is beginning to dress in her warm colours!
A wondeful mix of greens, reds and oranges.
Your pov creates a strong lead from the reflecting water to guide us through this melee of tones.
Sharp and interesting.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Looks like heaven :). Love the colours in this one, such a busy looking scene. The subtle yet effective HDR treatment really puts this in a class of it's own.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi, Linda -
Very pretty scene, and nice HDR work to balance out the exposure while preserving the natural feel and colors. I'm glad you got a chance to see some autumn up here while it lasted - now it's in the 40's every day and raining - it's as though we skipped Fall and went straight to December. Cheers!

Hi Linda I seemed to have missed this the other day.
when I was looking at this photo it seemed to have a orangish/yellow cast through the whole photo, so I checked on a different monitor and saw the same thing .. maybe due to the HDR process?
I did a ws to try and remove this a bit ..

You could make an interesting abstact of just the water here. The early fall colours are deepening on the trees, and it isw a pretty scene.
We should look in the rearview mirror more often - we can easily miss good shots that are behind us.
Good one Linda

Hi Linda,

How are you, a beautiful scene of autumn with all its bright colors. the rivers and all these trees in the background. You have done well to leave the white sky, it is not interresting in the following composition.
take care.
