| This is another moment from the re-enactment of the burning of Kingston, Ulster County, New York on 16 October 1777 by the British in retaliation for their loss at Saratoga. This is the fight at the bridgehead along the Hudson with the Colonist line valiantly defending the town. They lost (again). The re-enactor colonist militia are members of the 1st Ulster County Militia and other re-enactor organizations. |

Hi Lois.I am back and I enjoy looking again at all those pictures on Treklens.This is a very interesting picture for the archives.Nice usage of the smoke,I can see that you pay a lot of attention to the composition with the rule of the thirds.The final result looks like a painting and reminds me of the photos that I was seeing in my history books at school.Well done.TFS
