An HDR shot of a beautiful old red barn along Route 102 in Rhode Island! I pretty tired today. Road my bicycle 70 miles yesterday. Part of that trip was taken between 1:10AM and 3:02AM.... so not a lot of sleep...but tons of calories burned!
Hope you all have a great Sunday!
B-)

Hello Linda :)

Beautiful, splendid colours and composition.
Fantastic effect.
I adore the colours of autumn, then such "warm" colour.

I greet warmly.

Hi Linda,

This composition works extremely well here!
What a nice perspective and a strong point of view! I like the way you have shown the fence and the stony wall.
I must say that your HDR post-processing is done very naturally. Beautiful contrast with the warm fall colors against this blue sky. Your determination in training is a good incentive help using my exercise bike more often! :)

Bravo! Annie

That's a LOT of cycling for one day, I did a 100k (60 mile) cycle once and the chafing was horrendous. :(

I remember barns and homes and trees like this when I was in that part of the US years ago - very picturesque, something of a photographer's paradise.

Very nicely managed HDR, it really doesn't show that you've used the technique at all - which is success, in my book!

Great job
Rew

Hi Linda!

Beautiful shot, beautiful colours! Very good quality of the image! There is a feeling of rural autumn!

Regards,
Edward

Hi Linda,
You must have legs of steel to be able to ride that far! Wish I had that much 'get up and go'. The clarity of this image is phenomenal (and you say you have problems with sharpness!? Lol). Awesome warm colours too, the HDR processing looks so natural. Good idea to include part of the road, the road marking looks good leading into the distance. The sort of shot I wish I had taken myself, well done.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Linda,

Very nice capture of the picturesque barn. The view along the rural road is very scenic with the fall colors and blue skies. Your HDR work is well managed and subtle, which is perfect IMO. TFS

Werner

Very typical for East Coast Linda - I really like how these regions are look like, can't say that about driving there a big rig ha ha.
For me this picture is perfect in colour and levels harmony as well as composition.
Well done!:):):)
Tom:)

Linda, in New England?? Wow, glad you brought your camera :) Very nice. I like the leading lines in this image, the texture of stone, barn, and fence, and the rich coloration. Lots of work in the HDR, perhaps, but a fine result! I'm glad you mentioned taking the shot on your bicycle. I don't do that enough, but when I do, I feel like I sometimes have more flexibility than when walking, more access to just where I want to be for the shot, without a car pulled over to the side of the road. Seeing the world a little slower doesn't hurt the photographic impulse, either! :)

Warm regards,
Jim

A fairly subtle HDR Linda giving great colour! Nice compo with the wider angle - got the road leading away to distance and an interesting sky..
Very autumnal.....

I should be getting on my bike too!!!!!!

Hey, Linda,
just looking through the gallery and checked your photos and this is AWESOME! Wonderful composition with the barn on a diagonal, the road leading in and those brilliant New England colors. Man, I loved autumn in NE. Outstanding sharpness and detail, beautiful light and the sky is a perfect backdrop. That is one fine shot. Many thanks and warmest wishes,
Shelly

Linda, great fall shot for colour and saturation of colours! Sometime I'm going to try and learn the HDR format. Looks interesting! Don't know a thing about it right now. Congrats on the calories burned, but, damn, what a hard way to accomplish burning off a brownie or two!
