Hi Linda,
A wonderful B&W image, only a shame the microphone is obstructing Marc's head. Except from that a perfect picture, excellent brightness and contrast and the sharpness is spot on!
Hans
H Linda,
I thought was the eyes of the guitarist when I see the thumbnail . . oh, it's the microphone . . Beautiful presentation in BW . . How are you Linda?

Hi Linda
I've learned this past week, of 2 expats I've known in Korea, who died this year. One suicided on April 9, back in NZ, after finishing up in Korea, & the other was killed in a motorcycle accident in Seoul, on October 6. Makes you stop & think. Rest assured that Christine is in a far better place, than this crumby world! Oh the photo. Good tonal range & the mike doesnt bother me. We can extrapolate the facial details from the visual information available, & besides that his face is partially in shadow, as if hiding a lonely tear. Tfs!
Hi Linda,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. A very nice tribute to her with a loving photo. A poem for you today, thinking of you Julie
God looked around His garden and He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth and He saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered
“Peace Be Thine.” It broke our hearts to see you go
but you didn't go alone. For part of us went with you
the day God called you home. UNKNOWN

Hi Linda,
Sorry to hear of your loss.
Lovely shot and a great choice to post in B&W, the contrast is brilliant, It is difficult to get band members without mike stands in the was as is buildings with lamps in the way so you can be forgiven for this. Great shot of journalistic quality. TFS

Hi Linda:)
Sad to hear that about your friend... how life is stupid? or how people are? - spending zillions on weapons and destruction... we still have no medicine for cancer!!!!
Anyway I'm so sorry for your friend, may she rest in peace.
I think this is good dedication for her and why?
- Marc is just tuning his guitar!!! - VERY GOOD METAPHOR! for bridging from Earth to Heaven...
Tom:)

Dear Linda
I am sorry for your lost.
I like this kind of photos...they mean something. A man and a guitar is a beautiful composition and you captured very well.
A warm b/w photo.
Um abraço

Hi Linda,
I'm sorry to hear about your friend and offer you my sincere condolences. The older we get, the more of this we'll experience until it is our turn. To me that is one of the saddest and most difficult aspects of life.
The pic is great, I have no problem with the mike.
Best regards,
Werner

Hi, Linda -
These concert shots can be very challenging, but you handled this one very well. I like the moment you chose to capture with his head down, concentrating on tuning that beautiful guitar. The shadows and the fact that his face is partially obscured give a special feel to the image, like it's a quiet moment in a noisy place. Very sorry to hear about your friend.

Hi Linda..nice black and white shot..nice tones and details...with our age comes some wisdom that these young beautiful people don't have yet...there are some advantages to getting older.
