[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Technical stuff first: I shot this with a slow shutterspeed 1/50 @ f/5.6 or so zooming out as father was playing with son. I really liked the results. I'm going to post the original as a workshop so, hack away if you so desire...:) I cloned out some distracting bright toys in the background. I made a new layer in overlay mode filled with 50%gray neutral color, using the painbrush tool with 10% opacity & 15% flow black and white paint to "dodge and burn", bringing out important and toning down distracting areas. I also used a smart blur layer to soften the graininess just a bit.
Now for the fun stuff:
This is a photo of my friend Rob and his son Tiernan, my favorite 13 month old! Although, you can't make it out in this image, Tiernan's shirt reads "When I grow up I want to be a Boobie Doctor." This little one has such a love for life, you can see in his expression, although a bit too blurry. Notice the carefree slinging back of his head, knowing his dad will not allow him to fall, his tiny hands look as if he is directing a symphony. Critiques welcome...

hey Stacey I think the motion in this shot is good Tiernan looks like he is having a good time. thanks for the note as well, Rob was a cool guy if you talk to him tell him I said hello.
