This is my contribution to Sylvie's theme, "Reflected Self Portraits"...

I attended the opening of the play "To Kill A Mockingbird" and had the pleasure of sitting next to the young sound technician and all his wizardry technology so I was fascinated. I noticed when he turned a certain way, there was a reflection in his sunglasses. I asked him if I could try to capture it and he was very willing.

I think we caused a commotion because I notice the row of people behind us seem quite interested and puzzled about what I was doing with the lens of my camera so close to this young man's eye!

I hope this qualifies for the theme, Sylvie......

Hi Kathleen

I like the reflection in the sunglasses & the warm cold opposition between the blue & red. Well done!

Hi Kat,
Ugghh...these sunglass reflection shots are getting popular. I can see why...they're fun! This one makes me laugh a bit...to see such a large lens up in someone's face. Or maybe it's because it's late and I'm starting to feel giddy...time for bed, soon. Anyhow, good composition, dof, and focus...nice and sharp. Good job.
Take care!
Richard

Cool! Cool shades, cool shot! You always seem to find a great point of views. At first I thought it was Bryan wearing the glasses. Whats good is that your whole body is in the reflection. I like how large the camera looks. Great Kat, and a good entry for the theme.

Hi Kat !
Very nice shot, great idea !
I love the colours ...
Thanks for your contribution.
Sylvie

Fantastic idea. You never run out of them, do you? I guess it was entertaining for those around you. People are curious about what they don't understand. A very interesting POV and well done, Kat!

Very good contribution to Sylvie's challenge. The reflection is perfect and so clear; I like how the young man hair falls on the sunglasses over your head in the reflection. The colours are really good as well as the details on his skin. Very well done!

With all these people, we could say it's a multi reflection :o)
Good shot!

Excellent contribution, Kathleen! I like how you captured the row of people looking at you and wondering: "What the heck!". Good shot!

The love is the reflection of a woman in the heart of a man.

Another cool reflection photo!! I really like this one, you are still the focal point, and the curious people behind you are really fun! I like the composition using only one side of the sunglasses. Very crisp and lovely colours!!
Michelle

Great reflection shot Kat. I like the blue reflection colour very much - it looks good in the dark frame. I also like the way you have cropped it leaving just enough of the young man for interest and colour. Very well seen.

Yeah, what were you doing with your lens that close to this young guy, Kat ? LOL.
It's a cool reflection indeed, very sharp and colourful. TFS. I just hope you got to see some of the play as well ;o). TFS.

Hi Kathleen,
this is nice, this is very nice! The composition is great but the detail is even better! I really like how you can see some of the people being curious as to what is going on.
Perfect & well done :)

Very nice reflection shot of you Kathleen! :)

Good idea and execution. Nice colors. Well done.
