Taken from the Brooklyn side at a park this past saturday on a lovely day, this is the Manhattan Bridge. Not quite as awe-inspiring as the brooklyn bridge, but looks cool in black and white.

Converted to B&W, sharpened, cropped slightly, and adjusted brightness/contrast a bit as well.

Like the view?

I like your use of the lines in the structures to form the composition.

Daniel this is a fabulous composition and it works very well in b & w. I was first questioning the horizon being in the center of the frame but with the long extended line from the bottom I think it works. Very well done! B

Hey Daniel,

Another great composition again...
Everything goes well. Lines are driving our eyes into multiple parts of the picture. The perspective in the middle is driving us into the photo which gives a 3 dimensional feel to it, not bad for a 2D picture.
I also like the contrast of the left top corner with the bottom right corner.
I may have like to see a white frame though just out of curiosity. Oh well... excellent work again.
Cheers

Hi Daniel,
Nice shot. The Manhattan Bridge looks really good with the city in backdrop. Nice gray tones. Wish I could be in agreeance with everyone over the pier, but I'm not. In my opinion, if it were more of the backside of the pier (like to the left) then it would be okay (and then, I'd only mention the centralized tower). But, from the angle you've taken it, I think the railing in the foreground is too strong of an element and it's detracting from the Manhattan Bridge, which I think you are saying is your main subject, yes? Anyhow, good work overall.
Take care.

Hi Daniel,
Nice picture of such a post card from NY. You chose your POV very nicely and the picture is very well composed. I like the choice of B&W. gives a nostalgic mood
Well done

take care, Stef

i like the "lines" form in the photo :)
very cool effect from the buildings and bridge
well seen

Perfect perspective I think. The B&W is ok, but I would to see this with some colors.
Nice landscape. Well done Daniel, good point of view.

Well done. Nice black and white!
I like the sky and the perspective that the railing shows. I'm not a New Yorker but I don't mind seeing those I Love New York T-shirts that I see everywhere. I think it's a very interesting city. So diverse. Very very nice picture Daniel.

This is really great with the strong lines going in different directions. Black and white is a great choice too!
