Portrait of a frog lover
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I was out at a friend's house taking pictures of her wedding rehearsal when her daughter came running up to show me the frog she'd caught. I love it when little girls are not afraid to touch frogs!
She carried this Gray treefrog around with her for hours. I was tickled to get to hold it, too. =) I did convince her to put it on a tree for a moment so I could get pictures of it in its natural habitat.
This is the picture I liked best, though.
UPDATE: I'm excited to learn that Onlinephotographers.com picked this for Picture of the Day for July 6! At the end of the month, I'll have a chance for Picture of the Month, which includes 300mb free photo hosting for a year. |

Great shot, Kimberley. I love the proud, excited expression on the girl's face... Did she try to kiss it ?

I am a frog lover as well. Great portrait of a girl of seven (?). Her middlename is "gerald durrell", I like explorer type girls, especially in a barbie-age! Great shot!
What a beautifull girl and frog ;-) portrait. It's well composed and frog is absolutly good model;-) I like this photo. TFS

Could be my daughter, also picking up every animal she meets, especially frogs:-)).
A very funny shot, both expressions of the girl and this hanging frog, it's funny.
And with the Picture Of The Day, congratulations, always an honour, Kimberly !
It is such a cute and originally picture!
