[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Please stand clear of closing doors!" is the instructions given as the steel doors quickly slide to a close after each stop.

These two chaps already had their seats and were patiently waiting for the train to begin to tumble foward to the next station, perhaps their stop.

Converted to BW, cropped and resized from 5 continuous shots.

Your creativity was great!

Hello Daniel. What a great idea!!! Perfect B&W choice. The actions of the two men are wonderful to watch in each frame as the door closes. Thanks for presenting something that happens millions of times a day in such a wondefully creative fashion that it now stands out from the everyday. Very well done!!!
Kevin

Félicitations !!!

This is really cool. Looks like the a photo strip you take in a mall photo booth. :) You should print them and make a flip book. Good job keeping it centered. Also it is key that you got too guys in the photo too. Emphasizes the symetry. Nice job. JP

Very creative montage, Daniel. It looks like a film strip with all of the different images of the action of the door closing. Quite a daily life occurence for those taking public subway sytem but would never have thought of taking it in picture. I like how the two guys don't seem to stay still as they have a different position in each of the frame. Well done!!!

ah, dude, this montage really works
just dragging the scroll bar up and down the side is fun
like i'm watching it frame by frame :-)

Cool sequence, were you using a tripod or something?

I think it would be more interesting showing people coming through the door, like at rush hour when people are cramming in and instead of having it go from open to close, try the other way around. You could even expand it to showing the train pull into the station then leaving.

It's a great idea, but kind of 'quiet' for me.

Cool idea! Great to see the 5 continuous shots in one strip like that. Well done.

Very creative idea. Great job!
