Here's another entry for the August/September Scavenger Hunt. This one is for the category "Things I always carry with me". This was taken last night, sitting on my couch, holding my camera as far away from me as my left arm would allow.
I started losing my hair in my early twenties, shortly after I had to play Oberon in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in a western-style version of the play. The Athenians were played as cowboys and the Immortals as Native Americans. I grew my hair past my shoulders and straightened and dyed it all on the same day (okay -- okay, it took me longer than a day to grow it out!). My hair started thinning right after that -- but I do have hair. I just keep it very short now, shaving it off once every week or so. So, the item (usually visible or not) that I always carry with me is my hair -- or my glasses, take your pick.
I cropped the image down to the essentials, adjusted the levels, sharpened it, then saved and uploaded it. |
