[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When I was at the America's Cup Race a few days ago I rented a 300 mm F2.8 lens to shoot the boats at a distance. I thought it would be good to shoot a panoramic of the city using it so I seamed together about six shots.

Using a telephoto lens to shoot essentially a wide angle shot is quite effective. It brings the viewer into the landscape in a way that works better than using a normal wide angle lens.

This photo was processed in Capture One which is turning out to be better for me than Photoshop.

Hi Roger,
A lovely panoraama of San Francisco waterline. Marvelous high buildings, all in perfect sharpness.
I like the dramatic sky which is complimenting this presentation.
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Hello Roger, an amazing picture; I am always in awe of people who can 'stitch' pictures to gether in this way!
San Francisco looks a very interesting place with such a variety of buildings.
The cloudy sky is the perfect backdrop.
Tfs, regards Jean.
