This guy was cooking up something in his vehicle. Selling foods on the street is something common in Chinatown as well as some other areas of NYC.
Title comes from his handy wipes that he probably gives to customers to wipe up after they eat.
Some heavy PP work was needed here. I had to lighten his body while keeping the rest of the picture in tact which required 2 layers and some fine detailing work.
I used the paint brush to throw up a bit of graf to the right. Wanted to try something different, experiment. |

Great work, Daniel !
I like the way you captured the guy. Chinatown must be a nice place to take photos.

Hi Daniel,
Nice shot. Funny, he looked at you when you clicked it...busted! ;P You took it at a good angle, though. I like the slant, it's dynamic. The colors look good, and so that means your pp work was done well. I don't know why this fell into the hpp level...but, next time you have to dodge and burn, try a fuzzy brush in "soft light" mode and see if that doesn't help you do it quickly. I'm not sure about the lettering you freehanded. But, it doesn't hurt, I don't think. Just a different style I'm not used to seeing. But, kudos on the doing something different. C-ya around.
Take care.

Very interesting daily life shot, Daniel. A little too bad his face is a bit too dark as we cannot see his face really well. Otherwise, it gives a good idea of his workplace and also his surrounding environement through the window at the back of his van. Nice colours and multiple reflections. Well done!
nice! I missed this one before. Very good tilt and low POV. The reflections are great too. Nice and sharp as well. great job! JP
daniel,
a nice representation;how many windows in the compo,I am going mad :-)his eyetouch is incidentally and great,in a way asking why?
