What more willing subject to photograph do we have then ourselves? Well I guess that's if we are in fact willing to.

Taken in a government office building in downtown NyC, this is my second submission of a self portrait.

Tech Notes: None, this is an original. Ok so I blew up the curves to enhance these colors and then did some cloning work.

I am trying to get another version finished where my foot on the lower left dissapears behind the wall. Someone told me that although this is a surreal composition to begin with, it would distort reality less if that foot wasn't protruding out into the wall... it was my mom who told me that actually :)

Any comments on whether the foot is distracting?

Also the title of this is, "Yellow Lift" but here on TL I didn't think that would grab anyones attention.

enjoy

Holy Liberache! He would be proud here. Those are some crazy colors and lighting. Very cool. I like your SmoothDude pose. Great post processing. What is the bar going across your hands though? Part of the mirror? Nice job! JP

Very funny work, Daniel. We are seeing in triple which made us think we are having some eye problems. Nice composition with the line going through your middle. The symetry is a bit off with more of the light on the right side than on the left side. I don't think the foot going out of the frame distort reality. Well done!

I like the nonchalance in your statue; we all know you are making the picture on it, but you have an attitude as if you play with your phone or something.
Great performance.

Daniel, very creative as usual, I do not think the foot outside the shot is distracting at all, rather I like the photo breaking into the frame.

Well done

Hi Daniel, I like your work here. Simply and creative. I think that you should try putting you in three differents actittudes, only in my opinion.

Regards.
Pamela

Daniel,
This shot is interesting and colorful. Nice PP work. I do not think the foot is distracting, in fact I like that it goes outside of the main portion of the photo because it gives it a slight 3D effect.
Good Post!
Scott
