[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An exercise in duplication.

This photograph was taken by a friend I met on flickr.com

I had liked his original shot but felt it was a good candidate to do some experimenting with post processing so asked for his permission.

Duplicated original middle figure and flanked to the left and right. Then added 5 more at different sizes in the background. Biggest challenge was the shadowing on the front three.

Original shot will be posted as a workshop to check it out.

enjoy.

Crap I just lost my critique when I checked the WS photo again....:O(

Ok, I'll try this again.

Daniel,
Nice very nice dupes in this photo. I really like the dupes on the second level that have been flipped around :O)
Great smooth night scene. Your friend shot great night image.
As of looking over this image I can't locate any seems or residue of PP...hehe..NO PP RESiDUE :O) Sorry slap happy after a Day at work....Although the front left/right figures would have some different shadowing from their positioning of closer and away from the lighting...where as the center individual is obviously centered for the multiple shadows. Blah...blah from me....Great freakin job with this Daniel.

michael

that is cool Daniel. You did a kick butt job cloning. The composition is great and well balanced. If I had one thing to complain about it would be that it almost looks like a statue park in front of a building. Not sure there is anything you can do about that though. Unless you used flash on the person to see that they are real. That would suck though since the sillouette is great. JP

Hello Daniel, this is very clever! Very well done, and to play with the shadows is something I cannot do yet :)

Greets, Yan

P.s., be back tomorrow for greens :)

Nice PP work Daniel.
Original shot is very good and you worked very well here. vry creative concept and very well executed.

Well done!!

take care, Stef :))

This is almost a spooky-big-brother-is-watching type picture. I like the fact that the man doesn't reflect any light. you should have put one man looking out a TOP window. That would have spooked this picture out. Good job!
TFS!
Scott
