[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The red wash of the wall behind, the orchid as a floral decoration, remind me of Matisse, my favorite painter.
Shot this afternoon at the orchid show in Golden Gate Park, with a 135mm Canon, an unforgiving beauty of a lens I have just acquired.

Hi Herve,
Nice shot. Good uncentered composition, it lends to give better eye movement across the entire frame. Nice pov...the angle you took it against this background works wonders. The green is a nice contrast to the red. The image is a little soft, though. But, the details looks recoverable. Nice colors and exposure, by the way. Good job.
