The Brooklyn Bridge, a subject which has been of interest over the past year for me.

I often walk home from my job in Manhattan to my apartment in Brooklyn. I get to walk over the Brooklyn Brigde which is a wonderful thing.

If you have never walked over teh Brooklyn Bridge I highly recommend it on a nice day if you happen to be visiting NYC.

I like this view with the design of the wires to the right and the beautiful early evening sky.

nice original composition. Everyone does the centered thing (which is very cool but I like the more original composition here).

Excellent lighting and warm colors. here. I like the graphic effect of the grid. Reminds me of drawing class in high school where they make you draw in perspective. Very nice! JP

Hi Daniel,
Nice shot. Like the angles and the perspective from the grid patterns the line makes. Composition is nice, but, would've like to see just a little more space to the left of the bridge. Nice lighting, good exposure makese for good colors and shadows and such.
Well done.

this is a very special composition. I like it

Very interesting composition, Daniel. Nice late day colors give it a quiet mood, even though there's no way the Brooklyn Bridge can be quiet at this time of the day. I especially like the wire pattern on the right. I caught attention of cops on a few ocasions I was trying to take pictures of a highway at night or even a stream running along the road in my neighborhood, so I stay away from bridges, even though they are interesting photographic subjects. Regards!
Mark
P.s. This very moment my wife is reading in a paper that police in NYC does not allow taking pictures of the bridges. Would you believe it?

Hello Daniel,
The colors, the lines, POV and dramatic shadows make for a very interesting portrait of this lady across the water. TFS
Kevin

Great perspective here. I like the crisp lines and the colors. I have myself recently been there and tried some angles on the Brooklyn Bridge. Its a nice place to experiment.

ahhh NEW-YORK!!!
my american dream!!!
good capture the bridge!
bye....tanbinh.

Very nice urban landscape, with a good POV and great contrasts. I like the sunset colors warming the buildings' wall. Well caught! ;o)

Interesting composition. Buildings in the background look a tad tilted. I think it would be cool to have just the net and the buildings (perhaps, with a slightly different POV). Very well done overall.
