Not an easy shot to take, and I think you did a good job. The car movement is well captured and the light is very good. Two things I would consider: 1) center the background and have the car coming from one side; 2) yellow cabs are such an icon in NYC that it's unfortunate the shot is in B&W. Now, the colour cast of a night picture might have been wrong, so I cannot tell for sure. Anyway, it still looks good in B&W. Overall, a great snapshot of Manhattan!

Nice urban picture,Stephan! I hope that you enjoyed your trip in New-York! Even though the picture is in b/w ,the first thing I saw in my mind ,when I looked at your picture,was a yellow cab! Well composed! We can feel the frenesy of that big city! Michel

I like the motion blur of the taxi cab. The contrast & light are excellent and the lights are so typical from there. I can feel the NY ambiance: rush, never sleep, lights and taxi cab. Nice work ;o)

I felt watching the movie 'taxi driver';will Robert De Niro come out from somewhere there:-) nice compo,defining well the daily life there,big city big city light.
