[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I haven't been around too much..but
I was going to post a photo last tuesday... when I've noticed Kathryn´s message about Kat...
I couldn't find any word... and decided don´t post anything before I could find a way to express my feelings.
The message was about friendship. Friendship for almost a whole life, as Kathryn´s. Friendship built along a year, as Kat´s in TL.
That´s it... we came for photos and critiques... for learning... but what we actually find are friends... kind people spread over the planet...People we probably won't meet.. but we'll miss if they go out, for any reason.

This is not only for Kat's, who has gone. This is a free creation from one of her beautiful works, for all her friends, in a special way for Kathryn. Forgive me for being audacious... see it as a gift from Kathleen for you all..

This is such a lovely tribute, Carmem. Kathleen's picture was good but you have turned it into a very artistic work. The B&W makes it a very intense picture but I think it fit the mood of everyone on TL these days. I also found your note so touching and I totally agree with you that the most important part of TL is the exchanges we have with people from all over the world. I am learning a lot from everyone on the site but I feel that I am making friends. Thanks for this beautiful & sensitive tribute.

Carmem, your rendition of Kathleen's photo is at once artistic and touching. Your use of B&W clearly illustrates how color has been lost in my life with the loss of my dearest Friend, but also captures the light in her eye that perpetually challenged me.
