| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Taken on Halloween in a Brooklyn subway station, this is my friend from work Emily.
I took several shots allowing the shutter (although I forget now what actual setting was) to be slow enough to make the train blur as it came into the station. I just told her to try to stay still and I think we managed to capture a good shot together. |

Humm humm, I’m worried Daniel : I don’t know if I can give you any points when I have not watched JCandeli’s boxer, uploaded before your pic… lol
Well your shot is not too bad with this DOF, I like Emily in front of this train in movement, but I’m not convinced with your centring : IMO she’s too centered on the pic.
Have a nice day ;o)

i like this type of subway photo daniel :)
good depth and movement
Hi Daniel,
I like the blurred background giving impression of a train passing behind ...
Your model has a nice expression but in my opinion, she is too centered in the composition and there is a too important dark part behind her and part of her seems to disappear in this dark part as she is dressed in dark also ...

Good shot Daniel, good movement in the background, nice sharp foreground and good note too.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.
Nice job. I think I commented on this on Flickr. (Am I allowed to mention them here??)
Believe it or not, I don't have any suggestions for this one. The lighting, exposure, sharpness and DOF are all where I think they should be. Nice one. JP
