I gave that guy a buck and then asked if I could take a few shots. He smiled and said sure thing and gave a little nod at me when my train came and I got on.

Finally! you paid the poor street musicians. :P
Nice shot. I like the train moving in the background (always a good idea in a subway shot). I like your composition and lighting too. Focus is a little soft but it is close enough that it is easily fixable with photoshop. OF course too much sharpnening looks worse then not enough IMO. Nice job. JP

I've seed your shots made in N.Y.
I know is difficult to make original shot of the most famous and photographed place of the Big Apple.
But I think you must try.
I like too this shot.
I think it show more of the underground life.
The musicien, the man waiting, the train...
