[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The transportation section of the St Paul Science Museum has a wall of bicycle frames and wheels arranged on a very long wall as a giant abstract. I think a part of every evolution of the bicycle is present in this collage. The whole wall doesn't photograph well (at least I couldn't do it satisfactorily-I'll try again...) but this fragment gives an accurate impression of the whole.

Hey Lois,

This photo is pretty well done. I don't like the two primary colors in the frame too much, less could be more, but that's personal. Good overall effect!

this one is perfect in compo, the frame work , color, super photo.

This is so good that I am going to keep a copy in MF.
If that support post in the BG wasn't there, you would have scored 100 but, as it is, I can only give you ... 2 and that'll have to be later in the day.
To be super crit: maybe lines in frame thinner? The red line is strong and if it were further out toward the edge, could be less 'attractive? I'm one to talk!!!
As Attila says, less is often more and your crop is very good.
Yeeeeeeeehah!
PS: On further reflection, I like the wooden post thing. It adds.
pps: i FORGOT TO ADD ... See how many diagonals are in here? DIAGONALS are good.

Very interesting POV, Lois, providing a very graphical image with triangles, circles, & semi-circles. I think you did well in only taking a portion of the wall as the whole thing might have been too much and too confusing. Nice shadows on the walls at the back. Good control on DOF & good colours. Well done!

Each detail fits so nicely in the composition, including the play of shadows on the wall. Colours are lovely and the point of view is just perfect. Excellent work!

it's an incredible picture! I enjoy this graphical aspect, the mess of colors and shapes! The whole composition is also perfectly balanced because of the lines! It's a great JOb!

I like the complex geometry of the shot. Shades on the wall make the whole image even more labyrinth-like. This all creates a very captivating image. Great framing as well: I like that colors in the shot repeat themselves in the frame.

Like this - unusual and imaginative.

Hello Lois,found this on the front page of TL,I hadn't come across it before.An excellent composition, it reminds me of one of those puzzles where you have to count the number of triangles you can see! Lovely sharp lines and good colour.The background adds to the picture with the faint shadows.
