So I entered a contest for the best photograph of a daffodil in New York City. This is my entry and I think it does a nice job of showing some of the city with the flower. Hi Daniel
A good subject for a competition! I like the way you have captured the single daffodil. It contrasts well against the background. I think I would have cropped the picture a bit more, it would have still been effective and shown a building in the background.

ok , I would have cropped it more to bring the daffodil out more the blurred background of the building is fine.

Absolutely perfect. I love the point of view. I like the composition where what seems to be an office building in the background and the flower in the foreground. I wish you luck as this photo is worthy of a first place ribbon. Let us know if you WIN! .... Timbits all around, my treat!
