[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Morgan mare is a gentle and kind mother, as well as a safe mount for her young rider. She's obviously taking care of her foal, stopping to nurse her. She also takes care of her rider, as she's wearing only a halter and lead rope (no bridle or saddle).

Photo: color adjustments (made the white sky blue), Neat Image to soften this "sweet" image.

What kind of effects did you make?

Great shot, beautifully noticed and captured. Excellent sharpness on details and colours. Very interesting, thanks a lot for sharing.

It's a nice shot Jennifer, with a beautiful scene in it. As for colours I think you were lucky that the ropes were in red which contrasts strongly with the other rather flat ones. TFS

"Cleveland Bay," sounds familiar. Thoroughbred,? Hmmmm. Well done on this shot and a beauty she is.

Hi Jennifer, This is sweet. My wive is into horses to. One of these days I'm gonna post some of this kind of photo's to.
Regards,
Paul

Sweet. I like the beauty and strength of the mare, the athleticism and (almost) hidden smile of the rider, the striking red color of the reins and halter -- picked up in the rider's pants and undershirt, the neediness of the young one, and the care the mother takes to nurse her baby. Very affecting . . .

Also, the cool "sharpness" of the boot (and, to a lesser degree, the glove) contrasted with the general "softness" [of mood, that is] of the rest of image. :)
