Hi Josh!
Superb long exposure and composition. In my own opinion, converting it to B&W is the way to go considering the high contrast of the textures between the foliage/trees and the soft flowing water of the river... anyway, its just my 2 cents worth on the subject :)

Overall... congrats to a superb capture.

I don't specialize in Water photography but I sure do like it and like trying to get that perfect silky effect. It's all about the Time of day, lighting condition and filters used, but it's obvious you know this.
Where you have the snow which is difficult within it's self to get good exposure without over exposing you handled this really well. The shutterspeed on the water is a little more white or lighter than I prefer but that's just me, with that said, I think you have handled this wonderfully, not to mention that it's a beautiful place.
I'm New here and I have no idea how to try and Rework this for you or tell you without actually doing it, but I think I may be able to do a little PS work to tone down the water and bring out the detail though out and maybe even spruce up the color in the everygreen trees, let me stree, I MAY be able too, and then again I may not be able too.
How would I rework this and let you see what I did to it?

Hi Josh

I'm a big fan of long exposures. You did pretty well containing the exposure and keeping everything controlled without clipping highlights. A little more saturation to trees would really help this photo stand out.
