I HAVE THIS PHOTO IN TE BUT DECIDED TO MOVE IT TO TL BECAUSE IT DOESN'T FIT TE PURPOSE. I'LL DELETE IT FROM TE IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS TO NOTIFY TE MEMBERS IF THEY WANT TO MOVE FAVORITE, WORKSHOPS OR CRITIQUES HERE.
This is a wall light inside a Portuguese restaurant in Cambridge that... coincidence or not is named "The Sunset Cafe".
This Portuguese restaurant has more 30 years and food served here is terrific. You can find traditional Portuguese food like the "Carne à Alentejana"(pork and little necks), "Bacalhau à Brás" (a mix of cod, potatoes, eggs and onions), "Ameijoas à Bulhão Pato" (little necks in a garlic sauce) and the famous "Caldo Verde" (kale soup). And at the weekends you can ear the traditional "fado" music played and singed live inside the restaurant.
Didn't made any post processing on the photo. I've just changed the White Balance and reduced exposure of the camera to reduce the environment lights and only get the lamp illumination. |

Hi David
What a nice & innovative shot. I like its warm colors, Also like Eclipse of the sun! There are some noise (due to roughness on the wall)above the lamp which should remove in post processing.
Regards, Alireza.
FANTASTIC!
Framing and the colors (how you kept it) work really well... I REALLY thought it was a sunset shot looking at the gallery thumbnail.
Cheers!
