I love these birds! We have one up at the lake who just has a FIT if you get too close! He squawks and carries on, you would think we were killing him! This is really nice work, excellent close shot Vandana!

I see no prob with the colour of the rocks, Vandana... but maybe you centered the heron too much? Then again, I see a shadow near the edge of the rock that makes me suspect there was a person there, so you couldn't leave more space on the right hand side.
The heron is well captured (as usual).

Hi Vandana,

He is focussed very well, so for me he's only merging with the background in colour tones, but in sharpness there still is more thna enough difference. Very nice.
And I was thinking that herons were typically Dutch ;-).
