Just another sunset shot from this weekend, wetting a line in Devil's Lake, ND at the end of a beautiful first day of summer. No fish, but man, what a view...

I can't think of a better way to celebrate the summer solstice than with good friends, good food, and more fishing than any one man can handle.

In a few months, when it's -40 F again, and the snow is blowing around in gale-force winds, I shall remember this scene. Life on the open prairie is wonderful when it's nice out, it's just the winters that make people crazy.

Great job of capturing the light and how it covered by the clouds at the left side of the frame. Looks like it was the "perfect" day.
