That rose was in the Montreal botanical garden.

Nice and sharp and the red makes the image pop! Ivan I assume you used some post processing to get the background that black?

This is a very nice image.
Excellent sharpness and color.
Nice simple composition.
The water drops really bring it to life.

dear Ivan Simard,
this is an amazing shot of your red rose!
so vivid and passionate red.
and back black is very effective to show this red more vivid.
but it is difficult that the central water drops are adequate or not in this red space...in my feeling, these drops look realistic and red petals look fantastic, this contrast and combination are fresh and make me feel an artistic air, perhaps it is your originality.
