A bit tongue-in-cheek this morning. This is the Ring Bearer and the Flower Girl, and I must say I hate flash with a passion, but sometimes you can't get the shot without it.
The church was yellow, it was stormy outside, so no lights other than florescent so I had no choice. I think the sepia treatment did for me what I needed it to do. I thought this little girls hair was gorgeous, and her dress so pretty.
Tomorrow I drag myself back to work and I know I'm not ready, but it must be done!
Thanks for looking!
Linda

I really love the unusual PoV here! Superb composition and wonderful textures.
The title is hilarious and should get a few people looking :)

Hi Linda,
This is a sweet little shot, I wouldn't worry about the use of flash here as there are no burnt highlights, the composition is good and well presented,
Well done and take it easy at work.
Regards Andy

Hi Linda

Lol at the title. A good downward pov in this superb b&w wedding image. The flash is really not that noticeable. Tfs!

Hi Linda,
Agreed with Silke about the title :)
I didn't see any harm done by the use of flash - perhaps it affected the colored version but your B/W treatment tackled the problem. Very nice B/W tone indeed with much details captured especially on the bright part.

Well, then maybe they can just live together for a while. :) [kidding]
I too like the angle and POV, plus it avoids the dreaded red-eye, or worse, glowing eyes, from these low light situations.
Good job, good luck at work.
TFS,
Wilt

HI Linda,

I had to take a closer look. I can't even tell you used a flash, so kudos to you! This is a cute photo. I'm into higher contrast so do you think that would have drawn more attention to the details of her gorgeous hair? Also, did you consider cropping out all of the legs?

Lisa :D

p.s. STAY HOME UNTIL YOU'RE READY TO GO BACK!! YOUR HEALTH IS TOO IMPORTANT.....a southern yell from a southern belle!

If this is the same young man who was in your 3 in 1 he is on task at this point. They really make a cute couple. He has quite a dress, head piece and hairdo.

Have a good Monday!

Dan

hi linda, neat shot, what a beautiful young lady with the hair and dress looking like a princess all the way, great shot!
tfs,
scott

Hiya Linda

Aww this is so cute and I just love the angle, I think children can be captured perfectly from behind as thier small stature gives an adorable POV, She is really beautiful and he looks quite handsome too. Very nicely suited to greyscale too.

TFS regards Helen

P.S. You take it easy at work tomorrow girl!

Firstly, great title! Secondly, very nice POV and subject of the photo. The only thng, that is no really great here for me is the shadow behind the young gentelman.
Anyway, very good photo!
Regards,
Luke

Methinks you hate flash as much as I do Linda. A good POV, well converted and lovely detail on that dress.
