Sir Paul

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
last Sunday, Sir Paul was in Quebec City for the 400th anniversary of its foundation. Over 250,000 spectators were onsite while another 50,000 were watching om a remote site across the river.
I took few shots and, in this assembly, I tried to resume the evening:
1-250,000 persons
2-Quebec City (Chateau Frontenac and Concorde Hotel)
3-fans (treated with neon aspect to recall the 60s
4-Paul viewed on a large screed like most spectators were limited to
5-fireworks shot during "live and let die" my prefered song
So five different photos in the same frame. Maybe overload but the Abraham Battlefield were loaded too ;o)
BTW, even if I have NO Beatles records and NO McCartney records either (in fact, im not a fan at all) I had to be there... it was the kind of event that you see once in a lifetime.
used a mix of lens for those: 24-120mm for the wide view and 105mm with 2x convertor for the screen shot |

Bonsoir Richard,
MDP,

Hi Richard,
Nice shot of the concert. I like the contrast of the "bigger than life" Paul with the people in the crowd. Interesting lines, crowd, and the nice chateau in the background. Quite a job of post processing. You certainly made a collage with which to remember this show!
