| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This a picture taken from the Snake River View Point in the Grand Teton National Park.
About this same scene was taken a number of years ago by the famous photographer Ansel Adams. His photo was in those days was in black and white. I think the trees have covered the landscape a little more than when he took his famous photo. I saw a news article a few weeks ago, where his orginal photo of this area sold for a few thousand dollars. I have a long way to go to get that kind of recognition.
You will notice this is another of the pictures where I did not reset my ISO and it stayed at 1600. But with this type of picture, it did not seem to affect it much with noise except if you look at the blue sky area. I did use Neat Image recommended by another member and this free software does do a good job of taking care of noise. But on this picture I left it the way it was taken.
Guess I am not one to do a lot of "adjusting" of my photos with Photoshop or some other software. If I can't get it right when the photo was taken, then guess I am not a good photographer.
Hope you enjoy and any comments would be appreciated. |
