The polariser sure brings out the colours here, Annie, especially in the vegetation and in the sky. A nice compo again, and the clouds that seem to emerge from the centre of the shot towards the corners is a beautiful plus for the scenery.

Hello Annie,

I wish you could send some of you lovely weather to England. I'm afraid we've had no summer this year! Rain, rain, RAIN!!!

Anyway, this is an exceptionally beautiful shot! The grass and the warm-coloured cottage give f/g interest whilst the thin slivers of cloud really drag the eyes through the sky, and drop them far into the distance in the sea! It's a good job I can swim!

The sky in this photo is simply amazing. It adds so much depth to the photo. The dark blue sky also adds a lot of contrast to the photo compared with the wonderful secluded little house. I can imagine that you must have enjoyed this weekend trip a lot. You had great weather and a wonderful location.

Elle n'a rien de triste cette Anse Pleureuse. La maison du premier plan me semble joliment décorée de fioritures et j'aime bien sa couleur qui tranche sur les teines de roux qui l'entourent. Les couleurs environnantes ont déja une teinte automnale; la baie est très calme. J'aime ces longs nuages qui s'étirent et convergent vers un point commun. Très joli point de vue sous un merveilleux ciel bleu.

J'espère que tu as aimé ton voyage à Montrèal! Très jolie photo.Comment as-tu fait pour prendre cette photo en plongée? Est-ce qu'on voit cette maison à partir de la route? La composition avec le jeu des nuages est excellente.Je trouve les herbes en avant-plan peut-être un peu trop 'aiguisées' mais ce n'est que mon opinion.L'ensemble de l'image est très attrayant et nous porte à rêver.Beau décor champêtre.

I like the open sky the best. The grasses in the FG are nice and crisp. The roof top is a bit of a distraction for me. I don't know why.
I like the warm mid-tones that you have brought out using a polarizer. TFS. Karin
