A very expressive work Ayda! Truly wonderful indeed. I love the way you chose to crop your image, I think it really helps to make the composition stroger. This one says a lot! A really powerful work! Congratulations.
...As for the rest...I hope you'll be back with us soon ;-)

Hi Ayda,
So sad looking. I hope you got the release you were looking for. Your expression is very well captured. I saw the ws, I prefer this b&w version myself. I find it even more intense than the color. I think it's because color carries a bit more life in it that b&w does. The grain adds a good atmoshpere. Anyhow...great work!
Take care!

Ayda,
Smile you beautiful woman for the only thing that keeps you in wait is the mind and it's useless boundaries created for self preservation of what it wishes to think is truly itself. We know different don't we. Strong as ever in it's happiness and strong as ever in it's self defeat. For only the start of releasing of all that the mind know's can we then realize a more freeing existance where mind is not the navigator or the pilot but comes to understand it's place as only the co-pilot for this expereintial plane. Move into the sunshine for the darkness falls so often. There is always light it just depends on your placement and perspective. The shadows fall as the light reveals. The dark is the light as the light is the dark. There is a sway from either side. That great gradient in between is a beautiful understanding place to fly. Both know the one as they are only splits from the other. The known is a path. The unknown is a path. The known seems the programming that should be shed, for it is known. The unknown leads also into many different states but for discovery and not for only replaying as the known becomes loops intertwined with loops and etc, etc. The known must be known almost through and through for the transcedance into that which is above and through you with the great void of the unknown. There is the saying...the only way out is through.....
And through you do emerge. You move us with your imagery whether captive or set free. But I prefer for you the choice of the free. There are no boundaries only that which is known....and when that known is started to be released then do you start to truly fly like an angel that has been grounded for much to long. Fly beautiful angel fly and the gross world around you will become less of that which cages you.
I do love your work for it is you. But you does not truly mean you for it is the known you. When the known becomes static that unkown spark will move on through as it has showed you with this imagery of you. Nothing is of...Oh this is what I'm going to shoot and post....I say not...too many processes moving in the background for the persona to reign in full creative force with this imagery. The true you displaying you and showing you this is you and why do we move in this way.
I know this is not a critique, but feel I must...... and this is what I felt my dear Ayda,
take care and keep moving around yourself and you will really start to see as you expose and move yourself into new unfound perspectives moving from the known into the unknown.
Yet the self is an infinite spiral and will catch you in the loopty loops, so reflect with caution and of sound wisdom which you have already proven you can move into.
Michael

Oh Ayda....your eyes are so sad..my god.....U know what?..u should take a photo,where u are smiling!that would help u!..i know,its hard,to take a shot,with a not natural expression on your face...but..maybe..if u would try...to take a color shot of yourself,when u are smiling...that would show your path...your way..your destination..to be happy once!i really would like to see u that way...cuz i feel u deserve!
But.......Indeed...it helps to take selfportratites, and "talk out" our pain...
U are so talantive, young and beautiful..and i just wish ...Hopeful!!!dont give up on believeing in the happyness!!!!
As u saw,im also kind of down right now...but i know,i will be okey..i need to be!cuz..i dont want to suffer!thats what u should do....to not want to suffer...be able to smile, just cuz its a sunny day..or just cuz the wint blowes your hair....hm?..what do u think?....thats a good therapy!!...
If u would like,we could talk in e-mail,or something....i would like to help u..if i can...in any way....(if u want,just answer here,and leave your mail address)
Take care!We need u!

Hi Ayda,
very intimate and touching self-portrait. Your crop really enhace the strong sadness of the composition, the expression of the face is very shocking... it made me remember to those sad clowns..
Be well!

I love this picture, even if you are not completely in it... or is that maybe just the attraction of it?
Here you have created a strong impression of weariness, with the closed eyes and the just parted lips, as if being exhausted by the continuing battle you are fighting.
I think you are quite capable of expressing yourself, in your images as well as in your words...! There is no problem in bringing on a poem of any poet you like, the contrary. But you should try to create your own poems. I think you are up to it!
This is the first time you wear you hair really down in your photos? It cascades down in beautiful waves...! You should do that more often, it might reinforce your feelings of escaping the bonds... and I think you are mighty attractive that way... :)!

Hi Ayda,
A magnificent portrait. I like the pose very much, you indeed seem te be turned away, busy with lots of things of yourself. The empty space on the left is empty but to me full of tension.
I added a workshop to, also a try to add some color into your life and photo ofcourse. I hope you like it. Take care, see you again, Richard

Ayda,
I remember seeing this now, but was too saddened to comment before. This image really is stunning work. If we forget the personal side of things for the moment and concentrate on what we see in the image first...
The image: OK the posted version is the superior of the two. IMO B&W is much better for this kind of thing. You have successfully broken a composition rule in such a way as the image has so much more interest and impact. It is as though your are so sad, you can't bear to be looked at. The glistening of a tear about to break from your eye-lash brings a lump into my throat. As I am typing now, I can feel the despiration in this image. You almost look resigned to remaining sad, lonely and trapped, which brings me to your note...
The note: an amazing poem, and you must have had this in mind when posing and processing the shot. It fits too perfectly just to be one of those... it'll do kind of things. I can't read it again right now as it's too painful for me. Married with your image this is the most sad thing I have ever seen on TL.
Now this expression of sadness is not a bad thing, and I really want to push this point home to you. You and I both express our emotions though our photography. The feeling of being trapped in our own minds or sadness does has an escape route. Right here, right now! Keep taking shots that demonstrate your feelings, this is release. If you don't want to post them on TL, just send them to someone, even me!
This is not only good for you, it's also good for your art.
HUGE HUGS for you Ayda,
Lance
