I just love the DOF on this one. I would've like to know what postprocessing was done to it though.

Nice shot, i like how apple looks like a black hole or a water fall, pulling in the colour. Good idea for a macro, well done.

Beautiful Raymond, it's like an animal
who's looking in your camera...
Very nice DOF used.

Great detail on the stem. I never knew apple stems had so much character.

Very unique idea! I love apples, I think they are so beautiful, but for some reason, have never photographed one. You did a wonderful job here, I like the small DOF, I think it works here.

Very original shot. Looks like some funny tree sprouting from a crater on Mars. It's the black background giving the outer space impression of course. Very sharp and detailed - and how refreshing to see a new angle on macros.

Nice splash of colors! Always fun to find beauty in the mundane! -Jenn

Nice try. But with a closer aperture you would have got more in focus depth of field. But if it is at the expense of speed and you had aloready slow speed. Try next time with a tripod, and also diffuse the light through a wider area.
