[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The stretch of the Wolf River that ends here at Big Smokey Falls ranks between Class II and III for whitewater. So even though the height of the falls is a modest 20 feet or so when the river's not raging, it's still a challenge to navigate. While I was watching, about half of the rafters made the final span without flipping out of their rafts, but the other half did not. The paddlers who got as vertical as these two also tended to get a thorough drenching at the end of their ride.

Jim, it's hard to believe this photo was real time in the vertical position! It looks just as awesome in a horizontal format. But I'm sure you captured it in it's original form. Great capture. Very brave souls to be sure. Great perspective and cropping.

Those guys are plain crazy. Good capture of the action, maybe a follow up is in the can that shows them gulping for air.....
Cheers
