I had a marvelous weekend, but lots of rain and cool temps here, so it was mucky. It didn't keep me inside, it just made outside miserable!
This is an HDR shot of my sister property. I love what HDR does. I love days like this!
This is an HDR shot of a single image, vignetting added.

Technically look like perfect, 3rds in tact - very well Linda. Good that you get this tree as an main object to catch attention, after that I like how warm is this picture and super nice clouds - good job indeed.
Best greetings - Tom:)

Hi Linda,
I do like this image, it's low light and warm colours, but I don't know why you call this HDR or said in a different way, why you are using the HDR method? When using one image and treat it like you call HDR than you must use layers, or not? Using layer is quite common in photo shop, so my question is why do you use the terminology "HDR"?

Anyway this picture is well exposed and the composition spot on creating an attractive picture. Job well done my dear!
Hans

Bonjour Linda,

Pretty landscape. Nice composition, great details all over. Lot of depth and DOF. HDR is well mastered here, not overdone. There is no evidence of the technic except it is rich in detail.

Hi Linda,
Again we offer an excellent landscape.
Interesting colors and play it.
I hope you celebrated a birthday very well!
And you have received many beautiful gifts.
Have a beautiful week,
Adrian

Hi Linda,
Lovely landscape shot and an interesting discussion with Hans on HDR, for me this is the best way of doing HDR, no tripod, no motion blur. The photo looks like a Constable painting, I think I would have preferred a little less vignetting though it does enhance the shot
cheers
Jack

Hi Linda,

The vignetting seems very subtle to me. I like the effect....not too much. This looks like something a Dutch painter would have painted in the olden days. Gorgeous clouds too. Nice placement of the tree. Everything just
f l o w s... Good job on the HDR :) Lisa

Hi Linda...great shot..wonderful tones as usual....this is so much better than the Photomatix shots....great work.

Roger

Lovely landscape with the trademark 'Linda vignette' - really makes your work stand out in the gallery..

Classic landscape compo with good DOF and I like the muted colours of the greenery.

Cheers
David

Hello Lida!
Wonderful colours and nice HDR effect!
Beautiful landscape and lovely sky!
Best regards!
Lili

Hay Linda...
I do see some change of color in the bg trees =)
Love the look of the sky your pp work has produced.. the lone tree in the FG imo is very interesting... =) I need to catch up on this HDR processing I love what it adds

Tricia

Hello Linda,
This could easily be mistaken for an early painting of the South of Texas. The muted tones allowed by the overcast skqies is beautiful, and the detail of the scene is flawless.
Excellent Composition and balance.
Have a great weekend...
Steve

Lovely composition.

This is the way I like HDR...rich but not overdone. The color mood and quality are reminiscent of Renaissance art. A nice example of a Texas afternoon, too. Well handled and appealing work:)

Hi Linda,
Very relaxing scene, the composition looks spot on. I can literally picture myself sitting under that large tree with a deck chair and a cold bottle of beer. Think I'll book my flight now :). Love the effect of HDR here, you were lucky with the cloud coverage too. I may have added slightly more saturation to the sky, but that's just a personal preference. Impressive job.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Linda!

Very nice shot! Looks like an old paintings of good masters.

Edward
