Hi Christopher,
You captured the moment well. The blue from the aby's clothes also goes well with the red from the mother's. However I must say that a bit of USM wouldn't go far astray, and maybe crop some of the top?
anyways this is a great natural looking portrait shot.

and your wife, for some reason, reminds me of popeye the sailor man's wife olive! which should be taken as a compliment, because olive is very cute to me :)
