This fireworks display is known as SkyFire and is held annually during Canberra's birthday celebrations. This photo was taken near the end of the display when the sky does look like it is on fire.

A difficult subject and you have captured it well. I love the mood here. TFS Julie

You've captured these fireworks really well, it's not easy doing this without burning out the lights. I would have perhaps zoomed in a little to try and cut out the people on the right and car on the left, but other than that a good shot.
