[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today is a day to remember the sacrifice of the service men and women who have died in action, and the end of 'war to end all wars'. Would it were so. It is a small part of the roll of honour at the Australian War Memorial which lists all Australians to die in service.

Nice capture, Stephen,
I like that the only colour that stands out is actually the red of the poppies.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards, Evgenia

Excellent angle for this shot. The red of the flowers provides a striking contrast to draw attention to the lettering on the memorial, and you used this well in your composition and POV. There is also a nice glow of light on the memorial surface that enhances the visual effects. Good work:)

Great idea for a picture. DOF bites a bit. Tripod would have worked with f16 and better. I like the contrast between the red and the plaque.
