I was looking for the letter J for the scavenger hunt in trees and bushes. But at one stage I kicked a rock and what should be underneath but the letter J on its side.

This is not a very big creature (about 4cm long) but still looks quite fearsome. And it was not happy to be disturbed.

Hi Stephen,

Size does not matter. This is deadly animal. I prefer to stay away from this. You did great shot.
I crop to focus just this animal, and a bit enhancing the color. Hope you don't mind.

Really good photo, with good color and contrast, dire that the sting is painful enough, a few years ago behind I puncture my one in the foot.

Hi Stephen,
Did you eat him after the shooting? :-)
Indeed I can see a J in it. Funny how the colors of the animal match the area exactly.
The image is good of sharpness and color. Maybe you could give some more space to the right of the image, so the animal has space to go to. The space above the animal has no function in this picture and the animal is now closed up in a small brown area.
But it still is a good photo.
greetings,
Joop!
