[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was visiting Clarence Town,a small village north east of Newcastle( a mining and industrial city). Cockatoos were swarming every where. The cockatoo is a noisy prolific bird.Tame (domesticated)birds can be taught to talk.
They are a nuisance and can destroy timber railings and other fittings around a house. They are noted for their yellow crest and gleaming white feathers.
These 2 birds sat on branches of a dead eucalypt and sceeched away.
The photo has been cropped and sharpened.

also the composition is exceptional.

Wonderful composition Robert and a great photo of one of our noisy larrikans. Destructive yes, beautiful bird very much so. Not prevalent down this way in the large flocks that one sees on the mainland but they are present. TFS

Terrific shot. The birds contrast nicely with the green backdrop. Well composed photo with the cockatoos nice and sharp.

They are just gorgeous birds, but I can see how they could be a nuisance because they are so noisy and like to chew on wood a LOT. Still they are one of my favorite birds. It would be very strange to me to see them in the wild since they are only kept as pets here.

nice shot.. i love this

Hello my friend Robert!
I feel I miss a lot of your new beautiful photos, sorry :-) Your photos become better and better. I love it, and will return to see it all more detailed.
TFS and best wishes from Ukraine,
Elena

Hello Robert,
really nice shot and composition, i like the color contrast between the birds and background too.
I would try to reduce digital noise in the background.

Regards,
Alberto.

Great shot Robert. Really outstanding in the green background. Another familiar image to take me back 15 years :) Thanks for sharing.
