[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at a small village called Clarencetown north west of Newcastle on the Williams River.
I was wandering around the town in the early morning and spotted this old barn.Inside was the tractor-a Massey-Ferguson which are legendary in Australian agriculture.
I took my shot and an old man appeared. When I asked if the tractor was still used he responded by saying he was too old to drive it and no-one else seemed interested. Hence to the title.
Framed and resized for TL but otherwise as snapped.
ps Hope I get a good home when I am no longer needed.

Hi Robert,
Great shot of a Massey Ferguson. These old tracors are truly unik, and this one was indeed given a good home. Seems we had the same idea, I posted an almost similar shot on my account on TE the other day.
Have a nice day!
Regards,
Eva

Hi Robert,
Well framed in a pleasant composition!
The muted colours enhances the feeling of age, and this piece of machinery is well known from the farms around here too, many years ago!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Lovely colours and focus. The detail inside the shed is clear which is diffucult to get under these situations.

Hello Robert my friend,

Lovely shot of the old Massey with excellent light and detail. Nicely framed by the uprights of the old shed. I once worked on a mixed farm in the Great Southern area of WA. This model Massey was still in use but only for drilling post holes. My boss said that as a youth his Father would make him get out and start ploughing at 5am using this model. TFS,
David.

Hi Robert,
I like the old tractor. Very sharp photo and the frame looks very nice.

Wish you a nice weekend
Martin

Nice nostalgic photo Robert, that contrasts the colours of the tractor nicely against the greens of the grass and the drum in the shed.

very good composition and textures robert :)
good contrasting colors and elements
